SUMMARY:Purgatory Mushroom Festival - Mushroom Foray
DESCRIPTION:Join expert guides who will lead you around the forests above Purgatory Resort on a mycological adventure! These woods are known for having a wide variety of mushrooms. During the hunt\, the guides will educate you about edible vs. non-edible mushrooms\, techniques for finding mushrooms\, and any other questions you have. Complimentary wine and snacks are included. Guests will meet in the plaza at 9:00 am to check in and sign waivers. At 9:10 am\, guests and guides will head to the Purgatory Express (lift one)\, take the scenic ride up\, and explore the wooded area behind the top terminal of lift one for a fun mycological adventure. Afterwards\, complimentary wine\, refreshments\, and light snacks will be provided at the Durango Mountain Institute patio. The guided foray is open to all ages.
