DESCRIPTION:Money Shadow Workshop with Cindy Schmidt. Money is rarely just about money. It can be connected to security\, independence\, success\, responsibility\, generosity\, self-worth\, and what we believe we are allowed to want or have. Some of those beliefs are easy to recognize. Others operate quietly beneath the surface and can influence our choices without us fully realizing it. In Jungian psychology\, the shadow refers to the parts of ourselves we learn to hide\, judge\, push aside\, or disconnect from because they did not feel acceptable or safe to express. Our money shadow can include the beliefs and emotional patterns we carry around earning\, spending\, saving\, receiving\, asking for more\, or having enough. In this workshop\, Cindy Schmidt will introduce the idea of the money shadow in an accessible\, grounded way and explore how it can show up in everyday life. You may begin to notice questions such as: Why does spending money on yourself bring up guilt? Why does asking for more feel uncomfortable? Why can money create tension in relationships\, or become tied to responsibility\, control\, success\, or worth? Together\, we’ll explore the beliefs and messages you may have absorbed about money\, the emotions that tend to surface around it\, and the patterns that may be influencing your decisions\, relationships\, boundaries\, and sense of possibility. This is not a financial-planning workshop. It is an opportunity to look more closely at the personal meaning money carries and become more aware of what may be happening beneath your everyday reactions and choices. No previous knowledge of Jungian psychology or shadow work is needed.
