2nd Annual Mesa Verde Literary Festival
Downtown Mancos
DESCRIPTION
The festival will include individual presentations by authors (some local, some travelling from all over the country) in restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, patios, and shops in downtown Mancos. The day will also include panels on a variety of reading and writing topics, a youth poetry event, and a pop-up bookstore for festival authors.
Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache is participating in the festival and California-based mystery writer Nina Simon will join the festivities and deliver the keynote address.
The festival is free to the public. All are invited to enjoy the talks, panels, and presentations.
The festival bookstore, managed by Mancos' own Hand in Hand Books & Bottles Shop, will be located in the Mancos Community Center so festival attendees can buy books from visiting authors—and have them signed.
