Wild New Way Women’s Collective
Durango Collective
DESCRIPTION
Women, Money & the Conversations We’re Not Having with Guest Speaker Maggie Emerson
Money touches nearly every part of our lives, yet many of us were never taught how to talk about it openly.
This October, the Wild New Way Women’s Collective welcomes Maggie Emerson, a Money Mentor and Coach who works with women and creative entrepreneurs on both the practical and personal sides of money.
In Women, Money & the Conversations We’re Not Having, Maggie will invite us to look more closely at the conversations many women tend to avoid: what we want, what we earn, what we ask for, and the beliefs that influence the financial choices we make.
Together, we’ll consider how our relationship with money is shaped not only by numbers, but also by what we have learned about what is responsible, acceptable, possible, or “enough.” This gathering offers space to reflect on those beliefs and think differently about the way we talk about money, make decisions, and name what we want.
You do not need any financial expertise or preparation to attend. Come with your own experiences, questions, and curiosity.
The Wild New Way Women’s Collective is a welcoming gathering for women in Durango to slow down, connect, reflect, and explore meaningful topics together. New women are always welcome.
Doors open: 8:30 AM for tea, coffee, and connection
Guest Speaker Gathering: 9:00–10:00 AM
Cost: FREE, registration required so we can prepare the space and have enough materials for everyone.
You’re also welcome to stay afterward for continued conversation and connection.
