VFW Post 4031
DESCRIPTION
Participants in the fall 6-week Community Arts Durango Bob Ross-inspired landscape oil painting workshop showcase their work in a free art exhibition at Durango's VFW Post 4031 Veterans Benefit Breakfast.
Instructor Deborah Kelroy, who trained and painted with Steve Ross, Bob Ross's son, at one of his last workshops two months before he suffered a heart attack and quit teaching, carries on the wet-in-wet tradition called Alla Prima painting!
Enter the drawing to win a landscape oil painting! Sunday morning (9:00—11:00 a.m.) at the VFW. Children and service dogs are welcome; an entrance ramp and lift provide wheelchair access.
Additionally, the Veterans Relief Committee hosts a delicious Veterans Benefit Breakfast, available for an $11.00 donation.
