Art Showcase of Bob Ross-Inspired Landscape Oil Paintings
V.F.W. Post 4031
DESCRIPTION
Participants in the fall 6-week Community Arts Durango Bob Ross-inspired landscape oil painting workshop showcase their work in a free art exhibition at Durango's VFW Post 4031 Veterans Day Open House, 1550 Main Ave.
Instructor Deborah Kelroy, who trained and painted with Steve Ross, Bob Ross's son, at one of his last workshops two months before he suffered a heart attack and quit teaching, carries on the wet-in-wet tradition called Alla Prima painting!
Enter the drawing to win a landscape oil painting! Wednesday afternoon (12:15 p.m.) at the VFW. Children and service dogs are welcome; an entrance ramp and lift provide wheelchair access.
Additionally, the VFW Auxiliary hosts a delicious Veterans Day Luncheon, available for a donation.
