Seed Studio is excited to welcome back Nolan McPherson to our studio this October to share his knowledge about handbuilding through demonstration and hands-on learning.

Nolan, an up-and-coming ceramic artist, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art K-12 Education as well as president of the Ceramics Club at Fort Lewis College. This past summer he interned with Durango's Lorna Meaden.

Students will learn to work with clay, using foundational construction techniques with coils and slabs to handbuild bowls, mugs, vases, boxes, and tiles. If you have something special in mind to make, let Nolan know!

Tuition includes all clay, tools, glaze, and firing. Finished fired pieces will be available for pick up after the session. There is no wheel throwing offered in this class.
