Teams of 4 people will compete in The Egg Drop. Up to 15 teams can participate. All teams will be given a box full of random items to build a shelter to protect their eggs for 3 different drop points. The boxes the participants will have to build their shelter will all contain the same items. Nobody will have more or less of any item. The first round will include 10 minutes for all teams to build their protective cases. The eggs will then be dropped from about 10 ft. The surviving team will then be allowed 2 minutes to fix any flaws or breaks on their design for the 2nd drop. The 2nd drop will be from about 20 ft up. Those surviving teams will again be allowed 2 more minutes to fix flaws or breaks. The final drop will be from about 35-40 ft up. Any survivors will then go into an overtime round where they will remove their egg from the design and participate in an egg toss starting from 10 ft apart and move back 5 ft every throw until top 3 prizes are awarded. The only major rule to note is that the egg must be accessible to the Judge in order to determine whether it has broken or not. Must be 21+.
