Permaculture Picnic: A Festival of Music, Art & Sustainability
At Permaculture Picnic, our mission is clear: reconnect people with the knowledge to grow their own food—anywhere.
We've lost touch with the self-sufficiency our ancestors knew, but it’s not out of reach. Whether you’re tending a full farm, a small backyard, or just a sunlit windowsill, this weekend will equip you with practical, hands-on techniques for cultivating food in any environment or climate.
We’re bringing together permaculture leaders from across the globe and our local communities—Durango, Aztec, and Farmington—to lead inspiring workshops on:
DIY Soil Health
Mycology’s Role in Permaculture
Biochar Creation & Use
Composting Emotions (yes, really—regenerative living starts within)
As you learn, build, and connect, you’ll be moving to the pulse of a stacked lineup of Techno, House, Trance, and more, featuring:
Jeremy Olander, Enamour, Josh Teed, An-Ten-Nae, and many more.
Expect visionary stages, immersive art, delicious conscious eats, and a weekend full of soul-deep connections—all at Tico Time River Resort, a lush riverside paradise in the heart of the Southwest.
Founded in 2019 by the Holmes Family, Tico Time offers 110 year-round RV sites. With your help, we’re transforming it into a fully regenerative, eco-based festival village through hands-on collaboration and permaculture in action.
Bring your scuba gear—we’re going deep.
