ReVision : Diaries Reconsidered & Revised

Mixed-media diarist and artist, Charlene Geiss, presents Revision : Diaries Reconsidered & Revised.

Using private writings and objects amassed through decades of thought and reflection, the artist, as censor, decides what could be placed in the next generation’s hands or used to create something new, a different art form. Thinking beyond paper or the book, this exhibit represents the beginning of the artist’s process, an exhibit of original and altered diaries. The Opening Reception will be held in correlation with the Opening Reception for the Annual Plein Air exhibit. Curated by Mary Ellen Long and the Friends of the Art Library (F.O.A.L.).

In conjunction with the exhibit, Charlene Geiss will host an introductory workshop to mixed-media journaling on Saturday, July 2 at DAC.
