DESCRIPTION
Have you ever wondered what compound makes chile peppers so hot? Did you know it could be used medicinally? Did you know that plants in the pea family can make their own fertilizer and we can use this for our own benefit? Ever wonder if plants can communicate with each other? Did you know that the very stress that makes life difficult for plants to grow in the Southwest (extreme temperatures, drought, intense sunlight) is also what causes them to be great cancer-fighting agents for us? Learn more about these fun facts along with information about local wild edible cactus, berries, greens, and nuts and medicinal properties of plants.
