St. Francis has been rescuing and rehabilitating wild birds since 2004. They are located in Arboles, Colorado and are the only facility of its kind in Southwest Colorado. Pat's program has Dooley, a Peregrine Falcon, tethered to her glove as she talks about their history, feeding, nesting, and parenting habits, as well as their near-extinction and re-introduction back into the wild. All workshop participants receive free entry to the Nature Center, which is open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
