Calling all Christopher Wren and Leonardo Da Vinci wannabes (google them)! This is how architects get their start – building models! In this case, build your own Fairy Castle. May be constructed of any material, but must fit through the door at Pine River Valley Bank at 1701 Main in Durango. Deliver your creation and register it on Wednesday, Feb. 1 by noon. Viewing and judging will take place on Friday. Prizes awarded in each division. Awards ceremony is at 4:00 on Friday. Open to all architects – no restrictions! Novice division- up to 12 years of age; junior division – 13 years to 17 years of age; senior division – 18 years and older.
