DESCRIPTION
Living with a dog who barks, lunges, growls, etc. at other dogs, people or just about anything in their environment can be stressful for both man and dog. Learn how to calm your dog’s anxiety (and your own) by using scientifically proven, force free methods to change your dog’s internal emotions surrounding his or her trigger. No dogs are present for this course because the information shared goes deeply into how dogs learn and we want you to be able to give your full attention to the course material. Dogs are communicating with us constantly and this course gives you a leg up on what they are saying and how we can quickly, fairly and effectively help them. Textbook required: The Midnight Dog Walkers: Positive Training and Practical Advice for Living with a Reactive or Aggressive Dog (Lumina Media). Book is available on line and at Maria’s Bookstore. Annie will be referring to concepts in the book so it is important to have it for class.
