In this introductory class students will learn the basics of creating a spreadsheet, using formulas, charts, tables and keyboard shortcuts. We will discuss the new features of Excel 2013 and see how they can help you save time when creating professional level spreadsheets. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop giving you the opportunity for hands-on learning.

Prerequisite: To ensure success, students will need to be familiar with using personal computers and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse. Students should be comfortable using the windows environment for managing and saving information on a computer and some knowledge of using Excel is recommended.
