In this introductory class students will learn the basics of using Word to create professional documents, customizing ribbons, inserting images and videos, templates, and more. We will discuss the new features of Word 2013 and see how they can help you save time when creating documents. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop giving you the opportunity for hands-on learning.

Prerequisite: To ensure success, students will need to be familiar with using personal computers and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse. Students should be comfortable using the windows environment managing and saving information on a computer and some knowledge of using Word is recommended.
