Assemblage, from the word assemble, is comprised of objects arranged and attached to create a 3-dimensional piece. Students will join DAC Education Director and sculptor, Sandra Butler in learning the history of assemblage and creating their own works with found artifacts, personal objects and organic forms. Practicing composition, construction adhesives and connections, personal images and intuitive building will be the emphasis of this fun class. Open to all levels.
