This is a basic course for people who want to learn how to use digital photography technologies. Course topics include understanding how cameras work, selecting camera settings, getting the best possible image quality, downloading images from the camera to the computer, organizing photos on the computer, and examining the various possibilities for presenting images to friends and family. There will be outdoor, out-of-the-classroom exercises in addition to lecture/demo time spent in class. Students will be expected to have a working camera with a fully charged battery. It will not be necessary to bring a computer to class. There will be a break for a quick lunch (not provided) about the mid point of the class.
