Two day training.

Wednesday, January 11th at Durango Public Library from 6:00pm-8:30pm and Friday, January 13th at Haviland Lake from 8:30am-3:30pm



Cost: Free! Includes a priceless manual of natural history and activities.

Becoming a winter naturalist with Durango Nature Studies is one of our most popular activities. Volunteers will be trained to teach winter ecology to grades 3 – 8 on snowshoes during the month of February. You will meet a great bunch of people and get some great teaching experience.
