Date: Saturday, February 4 Time: 10:00 – noon Place: Haviland Lake (meet at Rapp Corral Parking area) Instructor: Program Facilitator, Grace Gordon Cost: $10 for non members, Free for members and kids under $12 Snowshoes: Bring your own or rent them from us for $5 There is a mystery written in every animal track. Join DNS naturalist, Grace Gordon, on a snowshoe hike and learn how to unlock those mysteries. As we hike through a snow covered landscape you will learn about the various gaits of local animals, how to identify individual tracks, and how to track each other. Tracking is an art and a science and there is so much more than meets the eye.
