Snowshoe Workshop with Durango Nature Studies: Snow Packs and Watersheds

Cost: $10 for non-members, Free for members and Kids under 12, bring your own snowshoes or rent ours for $5
Come learn the science behind our winter snow pack, weather, and the long term effects on our local watersheds. We’ll investigate a snow pit and maps to understand the sources, longevity, and use of our watershed.

Directions to Haviland Lake: Take 550 North towards Purgatory. We will meet in the parking lot of Rapp Corral, which is about 2 miles before Purgatory on your right.
