Trebuchet, the faculty woodwind trio from the University of South Alabama comprised of Drs. Andra Bohnet (flutes), Kip Franklin (clarinets) and Rebecca Mindock (double reeds), will perform an eclectic recital of music for woodwind trio in various combinations. The concert will feature works both traditional and modern, including transcriptions created by the trio of music by Bach, Borodin, and Bartok as well as a work commissioned by and written for the trio by contemporary composer Philip Wharton, and will allow for a vast array of tone colors and musical styles in a delightfully compact program.
