This course overviews Colorado Giving Day, which raised nearly $34 million in 24 hours in 2016.

But only 22 of the 400 eligible local organizations were part of the Day. Thus, area non profits missed out on a wealth of support for their vital work.

With a PowerPoint presentation, live links to the Colorado Gives website, and an interactive discussion of a 2016 case study, the course will 1) explore the enrollment requirements, process and timeline for Colorado Gives and 2) review the challenges and highlight the opportunities that the Giving Day offers.

Our course objectives are to 1) build awareness amongst local non profits about Colorado Giving Day, and 2) enable non profits to make an informed decision about whether they should add Colorado Gives to their fundraising strategies.
