The Air Force Academy Band will present a free concert at Bayfield Performing Arts Center

The USAF Academy Concert Band will perform at Bayfield Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 18th at 3:00 p.m. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. This concert is free and open to the public; free tickets are available for pick up at First National Bank, 351 Bayfield Center in Bayfield, CO. Non-ticket holders will be seated at 2:45 p.m. if space allows.

The afternoon will feature a diverse repertoire of music spanning classical favorites to patriotic standards. The USAF Academy Band brings a positive and uplifting message to people of all ages and backgrounds. Having studied at the most prestigious universities and music conservatories in the country, group members utilize their talents to perform spectacular public concerts all over the world. Their exceptional musical performance will not only entertain, but represent the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of our nation’s Airmen and deliver a patriotic message that will linger in hearts and minds forever.

The United States Air Force Academy Band, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Daniel L. Price, is composed of 53 active-duty Air Force professionals and includes nine performing ensembles. For over 60 years, the Academy Band has used the power of music to honor our nation's heroes, inspire Air Force personnel and the nation they serve, produce innovative musical programs and products, and communicate Air Force excellence to millions around the world.
