Family Friendly Event in Silverton Colorado At Kendall Mountain Community Center ( 1 Kendall Rd Silverton). Hundreds of Chinese lantern will be launched into the sky. There will be a Chili cook off prior to the launch. Face painting for the children, bon fire for communal conversation; meet people enjoy making s'mores. Listen to Silverton's very own DJ Tanner. Cost $10.00 per ticket for lantern/ $15.00 day at the door. $5.00/ Bowl of chili. This is a non-profit event all proceeds will fund Silverton Family Learning Center.
