Those who lay claim to Durango’s Best Bloody Mary can show off their goods at this bloody good time! The Bloody Mary Contest takes place during the SNOWDOWN Chili Cook-Off. Vodka, cups, and ice will be provided. Contestants bring the rest to prepare their Bloody Marys and decorate their booth AND themselves. Costumes are encouraged! Each team will receive ½ of a table to decorate, prepare, and serve Bloody Marys from NOON until 2 PM. Taste tickets cost $1 with all proceeds going to support SNOWDOWN! Guests can vote for the people’s choice award. 12 openings for both pro & amateur, 24 tables max. Must make drinks on-site, and bring enough for 15 judges and lots for the general public. Additional information, contest rules, and sign-up sheet available at Wagon Wheel Liquors, BREW Pub & Kitchen, and Sunnyside Farmer’s Market in Nature’s Oasis. Prizes will be awarded at 2 PM. Must be 21+.

Event Cost: FREE for contestants, samples are $1
