Hawaiian hula dance is practiced all over the world because of its gifts of beauty, culture and storytelling. We are Ka Pa Hula I Na Mauna: Those Who Dance and Live Hula in the Mountains, within the ‘Pillars of Heaven’.
We are delighted to be able to go to Hawaii in June of this year, celebrating the Hawaiian king who first established the unified Kingdom of Hawaii. June 11 is a public holiday on all the islands, celebrating King Kamehameha and Hawaiian traditions. We are honored to share dances at a festival on the north end of Hawaii’s Big Island, King Kamehameha’s honored birthplace.
Hope you’ll come!
