Frisky Squid was started by four friends in the heart of Denver, Colorado in mid 2009. What first was a way to have fun with friends soon grew into what would be an exiting musical journey for the Squidsmen. Frisky Squid brings an abundance of tonal landscapes and possibilities. Mixing the right variety of jam, jazz, bluegrass, blues and rock elements has created a fresh sound and set the stage fo...r a killer live performance. Jumping into to the flourishing jam scene in Denver, Frisky Squid has been nurtured by an ever growing fan base that thrives off the band ability to improvise and grow during live situations pulling off bigger and better shows on a consistent basis. In Late 2010 a man by the by the name of Andy Sydow joined forces with the Squidsmen and was the missing ingredient adding flavorful keyboards the blended so well with the other members.
