Are you a 3rd to 5th grader? Have you ever wanted to design and construct your own building, roller coaster, or raft? Or design and launch a rocket? Yep! We thought so. Come learn these new skills and more, during Sudden Science! This hour-long, experiment-based, after school program will meet at Riverview Elementary, and will feature The Powerhouse Science Center’s enthusiastic educational staff guiding students through fun and thought-provoking hands-on activities. During April’s 3-week session, we will be exploring engineering. Due to limited materials, each class will be capped at 18 students, first-come, first-served. Due to early release, parents will need to wait outside the school until 2:30 to sign their kids out. If you prefer to let your child bike or walk home, or come find your car in the parking lot in lieu of an in-person sign-out, you’ll need to sign the additional bottom portion of the liability form.
