On Wednesday, April 12, Colorado Connections Academy @ Durango is hosting an open house at its headquarters at 150 Tech Center Dr. (Suite C & D). The community is welcome to join this free event any time between 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This event is open to the whole family and is a wonderful opportunity to meet staff, have questions answered and get familiarized with the school's online learning system, Connects. Colorado Connections Academy @ Durango, which opened in the 2016-17 school year for students statewide, currently serves approximately 300 students in grades K-10. Colorado Connections Academy @ Durango will expand to offer K-11 in the 2017-18 school year, and twelfth grade the following year. Colorado Connections Academy schools offer an individualized approach to learning which combines state-certified teachers, an award winning curriculum, technology tools and socialization opportunities. Colorado Connections Academy students meet regularly in online LiveLesson® classroom sessions and have opportunities to share ideas, compare experiences, and have fun learning with their peers. Because it is a public school, there are no tuition costs or fees to attend.
