FLC’s Choirs are presenting a spring concert at 7pm on April 20 with the central theme of celebrating student work and achievement. Students have worked very hard to put together small chamber ensembles, rehearse some of their own sectionals, and showcase independent vocal work through a wide array of solos. The choirs will sing original compositions by four different student composers, along with exciting excerpts from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, and an eclectic mix of rhythmic, lyrical, and familiar tunes sure to thrill and excite listeners. Watch out for a rocking finale featuring a faculty band!
