The three-time Grammy-nominated Cuban World Music group Tiempo Libre is among the hottest young Latin bands performing today. Classically trained at Cuba's premiere conservatories, Tiempo Libre's Miami-based members are modern heirs to the rich tradition of the music of their native country. Today, the group is a hit in the U.S. and abroad, celebrated for its incendiary, joyful performances of timba, the irresistible dance-inducing, high voltage Latin jazz.

The band is touring in support of its latest release, the break-through album My Secret Radio, which revisits the Tiempo Libre members’ teenage years in Cuba – a time spent using homemade rooftop antennas fashioned out of aluminum foil and wire coat hangers to discover American pop, soul and jazz.
