La Plata Conservation District and The Garden Project will be hosting a workshop about native bees and pollination, as well as cover crops. This workshop is for both backyard gardeners and landowners! Ted Creighton, a Durango educator and expert on all things bees, will be sharing his knowledge about alternatives to Honey Bees and how to use native bees to optimize your garden and land. In this double feature workshop, we will also be presenting about cover crops and their importance in soil and water conservation.
