This workshop is for parents, early childhood care and education (ECCE) providers, employers, government representatives and all interested in the economy and quality of life in La Plata County.

Access to quality early childhood education (ECCE) and a strong workforce are closely linked and are necessary for our community to thrive.

This workshop will:
Explore the relationship between early childhood education and the workforce - including childcare providers, parents and young children themselves; examine existing models of affordable and accessible ECCE; provide an opportunity for parents, ECCE providers, employers and government representatives to collaborate in developing solutions to workforce issues related to ECCE in La Plata County; produce a starting point for development of a strategic plan for a strong ECCE-related workforce in La Plata County.
