The Powerhouse Science Center, US FIRST, and Alpine Bank will host the 2017 season of the Four Corners FIRST LEGO League. An introductory kick-off BBQ will be held on September 7th at the Powerhouse Science Center at 5:30 p.m. in the Powerhouse Plaza. Each team consists of three to ten members and is supervised by two or more adult coaches before and during competitions. Youth will program an autonomous LEGO robot using engineering concepts and work as a team to accomplish missions related to a theme. This year’s theme is HYDRODYNAMICS. All skill levels are welcomed and needed, technical or non-technical. After a minimum of 10-weeks preparation, local FLL teams will compete at the regional Four Corners tournament in December.
