Sign up early to compete! Challenge your coworkers to commute cleanly all week Wednesday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 27. In conjunction with Clean Commute Week June 20-28, the City of Durango is once again hosting the Summer Business Commuter Challenge from Wednesday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 27. The Business Commuter Challenge is a friendly competition among local businesses to see who can walk, wheel, bike, e-bike, bus or carpool the most during Clean Commute Week. Participants will compete against other like-sized agencies in Durango. The four size categories are Tiny (1-10 employees), Small (11-50 employees), Medium (51-100 employees) and Large (over 100 employees). All trophies, awards and prizes will be given at the Love Your Commute Celebration on Thursday, June 28 from 5-7 PM at Ska Brewing Co.! To sign up for the 2018 Summer Business Commuter Challenge, please email getarounddurango@durangogov.org or call (970) 375-4955 no later than Friday, June 15. Once your organization has signed up for the Challenge, you will receive further details and materials, plus an invitation to our *exclusive* Team Leader Pre-Challenge Meeting! Please do not include recreational bike rides, hikes or runs for exercise.
