The Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering 4th Annual Barn Dance and Picnic in the Park Fundraiser featuring the Tim Sullivan Band and Special Guest Cowboy Poet Lindy Simmons will be held Sunday, June 10th from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the lovely Rotary Park located behind the VFW. There is a concrete dance area in front of the gazebo where Tim will perform. Bring your own picnic or purchase delicious Angus burgers/brats and sides for $5 provided by the VFW. Wine, beer, sodas and Cream Bean Berry Ice Cream also available for purchase. Tickets $15; Free admission for children under 12. Seating limited so plan to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. In case of rain, the dance will be moved inside the VFW where there is a large dance floor and lots of tables.
