Durango Arts Center is launching a dynamic annual Festival de los Muertos; recognizing and affirming the artistic and cultural celebration surrounding the beloved Latin American holiday, DÃa de los Muertos, (the Day of the Dead). With Durango’s significant and vibrant Hispanic population, DAC strives to promote multiculturalism and embrace respectful, fun and educational cultural pathways through several creative events for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate.
$5 general admission, 17 and under Free.
From 5-8 during the opening Night of Barbara Conrad Gallery, which will be filled with community built Day of the Dead Altars the Durango Arts Center will be filled with celebration for the Day of the Dead. Activities include:
