DESCRIPTION
Learn how glaciers helped shape the landscape while visiting some of the most picturesque lakes in the area.  Join San Juan Mountains Association and certified interpretive guide MK Gunn on a hike to the Highland Mary Lakes near Silverton on Sunday, Sept. 23rd.  Come prepared to spend the day in the mountains.  This hike is strenuous!  Carpool from Durango at 7am or meet at the trailhead around 8:30.
