DESCRIPTION
Peshawn Bread is a writer of poetry and screenplays as well as a camera woman. Bread is a fourth-year student at the Academy of Art University where she studies Screenwriting and has experience working on independent films. Bread is a Sundance Film Festival Alumni of many programs. In the winter of 2015 she was introduced and welcomed as one of Sundance Institute’s Full Circle Kellogg Fellows. In the summer of 2016 she assisted with the Sundance Filmmaker’s Lab in Santa Fe, NM. Peshawn will present the process of taking a story and translating it into screenwriting format. She will interact with participants to create their very own screenplay ready to shoot and take home. This event is free and open to the public.
