The Durango Botanical Society, in partnership with the La Plata County Extension office, is hosting a workshop on pruning your bushes and trees. Subjects to be covered will include plant selection and placement for Durango’s challenging environment; how to recognize diseases and insects and what to do about them; and, when and how to prune various types of bushes and trees in your yard.
