Durango Nordic Ski Club is hosting the Fort Lewis College Rocky Mountain Nordic Junior National Qualifier on February 16 and 17 at the Durango Nordic Center. The weekend of racing features an interval start skate race on Saturday, February 16 and a mass start classic race on Sunday, February 17. Racing begins at 9am both days and the Junior National team will be named once racing is complete on Sunday. Durango Nordic invites the community to come watch the region’s top junior cross country skiers race to qualify for Junior Nationals, held in Anchorage, AK in March.
