A three day food and beverage extravaganza intended to promote and enhance the charitable, cultural, educational and economic development of the Durango, Colorado area. The Durango Wine Experience features educational programs to attendees which: Explore the historical impacts of viniculture on the different world cultures and societies; increase awareness and interest in and provide a better understanding of new and developing aspects of wine production and consumption; discuss recent trends and changes in winemaking philosophy and techniques; and explore the relationship between winemaking and wine consumption and the culinary arts. Durango Wine Experience strives to provide a forum for winemakers to showcase new and existing products and to raise money for chosen local charities and non-profits.
