Yoga of Recovery approaches addiction from a biopsychosocial perspective, that is through mind, body, and spirit. Classes integrate discussion and yogic practices to aid those along their recovery journey. It is an opportunity for self-inquiry, for seeking a better understanding of addiction, and for finding solutions that work for you.
Appropriate for those in recovery from addictions to drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, nicotine, sex, or other addictive substances/behavior. Participants must be sober or in recovery for at least 90 days. Each person will be required to complete an intake form upon attending class.
Classes facilitated by Emily Carelton (MA, LPCC, RYT500) and Lynn Wickersham (MS, E-RYT200/RYT500).
All classes meet Wednesdays, 6–7:15 pm at the Smiley Building, Studio 10. Suggested donation is $10/class.*
