Children's book author Matthew Lasley will read from his new book PEDRO’S PAN: A GOLD RUSH STORY and talk about gold panning at the Animas Museum 3065 W 2nd Ave, Durango. In addition, families can tour the Museum’s exhibits and learn how to pan for gold at a gold panning station. Maria’s Bookshop will provide refreshments and have copies of the book on sale.

Tickets are $20 per family and include a copy of the book. Tickets are available at the Animas Museum and Maria's Bookshop.
