DESCRIPTION
Come grab a seat at the window just on Main, relax on the couch by the fireplace, or perch up on the balcony with your favorite hand-crafted cocktail. We have the most talented bartenders who are sure to give you a great mixed drink experience. The Office offers small plates and appetizers for your afternoon hunger pains. Want to take a lap around the place? Go ahead, take your cocktail mobile and check out the Historic Strater Hotel. See if you can find all the hidden compartments in this live antique museum. Want a different scene? The Diamond Belle is right next door with live music nightly as well. Gary Watkins has been playing music in The Four Corners since the 70s. He started playing the guitar as a teenager and was part of a high school band in Rhode Island. The band played at a “The Bastille” where Vanilla Fudge and The Cowsills got their musical start. Gary originally moved to Silverton to work in the Melodrama at the Grand Imperial Hotel, and since then has been playing locally at venues such as Farquarhts (Derailed), the Sundance Saloon (The Wild Horse), Sweeneys, the Doubletree, Firefox Farms, James Ranch, The Diamond Belle Saloon, The Office Spiritorium, Purgatory, and many other places in the Four Corners. Gary’s musical influences include the Beatles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, the Eagles, Bob Dylan, and the Grateful Dead. He has a various acoustic musical catalogue which includes mellow versions of the aforementioned artists, bluesy numbers, country, guitar instrumentals, originals and classics from the 40s and 50s (these are for his mother). He has opened for Martin Murphy and as part of a band, opened for Berlin at Fort Lewis College. Gary is currently working on a 50th Anniversary Retrospective concert at The Grand Imperial Hotel taking place this summer. He is also working on a couple of songs performed by his good friend, Greg Ryder who passed away this Spring, to honor his memory.
