DESCRIPTION
Join MK Gunn, certified interpretive guide with San Juan Mountains Association, to get a bird’s eye view of the 416 Burn Area on Sunday, June 30 from 8 to 2:30. We will drive far above Hermosa Creek for this vantage. From there, we’ll wander along to road and get both close up and far off views. We will compare with old photos and come back annually to see how Mother Nature is repairing the landscape. There will be various carpool options for this long drive. A $10 donation is recommended. Contact MK@sjma.org or 970-385-1269 to register.

The San Juan Mountains Association, in partnership with San Juan National Forest and BLM Tres Rios Field Office, promotes responsible care of natural and cultural resources through education and hands-on involvement that inspires respect and reverence for our lands.
