Leah is originally from Conifer, Co and has resided in Durango for two years. She has been singing since birth and playing guitar since she was 20 years old. When she was 23, she realized how much she hated waiting tables and that’s when she really dedicated herself to her passion, music. Leah started street performing on the 16th Street mall in Denver then continued just that while traveling around the states. She ended up in Key West, FL where her first official gig was booked. Leah continued there for eight years as a full time musician before coming to Durango.

Leah mainly plays 60’s era folk and some old country and contemporary music. Her major influences are her dad, Ani Difranco, Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell, and Tori Amos.
