No goblins and ghosts in Downtown this year: We held out as long as we could in planning, as we were hoping for a change, but the BID has cancelled the Children’s Halloween event in Downtown Durango this year. BOOOOOOO. But it’s safety first, and given that this popular event has no social distancing (and Halloween masks don’t rise to the prevention standard), we’ll postpone to next year.

BUT, as of now we’re still planning to do Singing With Santa and light the Holiday Tree in Buckley Park! Stay tuned for how we tweak that event in this age of COVID.
