On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair... I must be riding in the Bed Races again! Participate in Durango's craziest and most fun event in what is sure to be an action-packed spectacle. Compete head-to-head against other teams for the Bed Race Trophy. The event will be held on Main before the start of the SNOWDOWN Light Parade. This event is a fundraiser for the Durango 100 Club. Support a great cause and have one heck of a time. The start/finish line will be in the middle of the block with races going off in both directions (north/south) in each lane. You'll race head-to-head against the team next to you. First team to cross the finish line advances to the next round. Beds are provided. You'll need a team of 5, a SNOWDOWN themed onesie, helmets for everyone, and proper footwear. Teams of 5 (4 people pushing the bed, one person on the bed). Person on the bed exchanges onesie with one of the runners at the turn around point.
